FAREWELL TO THE PITCH: The Final Poc event was held in glorious weather at Pairc Antóin Ó’Briain. There were matches from Under 4s to Masters level, with a barbecue, Irish Dancing, kiddie games and treats. This memorable day ended with Tony O’Brien’s son, Tony, striking the final poc before redevelopment begins. Thanks to everyone who made the event possible and those who supported it.
SENIOR INTER-COUNTY HURLERS: Best wishes to Cian, Aaron and Diarmaid in the All-Ireland Hurling Championship final.

Jay O’Neill put over the last point of the match as Patrickswell lost by 4-11 to 1-12.
