SENIOR HURLERS: Patrickswell secured its first City League win of the season after a late revival saw off a spirited Kildimo-Pallaskenry. The opening stages were high-scoring as the teams scored five points apiece in ten minutes (Kevin O’Brien, Andrew Carroll, Dayle McDonagh, Thomas O’Brien and Patrick Kirby). There was an unrelenting scoring pace as both teams adding another four points each by the 20th minute (Thomas O’Brien, Dayle McDonagh and Patrick Kirby 0-2). The scoreline was now 0-9 to 0-9. Patrickswell enjoyed a strong close to the first half and led by 0-14 to 0-11 at the interval thanks to Patrick Kirby 0-3, Dayle McDonagh and Kevin O’Brien.
Kildimo-Pallaskenry shaded the start of the second half and their five points eclipsed Patrickswell’s three points from Kevin O’Brien, Andrew Carroll and Patrick Kirby. The Patrickswell advantage was now a minimal 0-17 to 0-16 after 40 minutes. The ‘Well were shocked by two goals in two minutes and we found ourselves 2-18 to 0-21 behind by 50 minutes (Cian Fitzgerald, Kevin O’Brien and Patrick Kirby 0-2). Thankfully a barrage of six consecutive points from Patrick Kirby 0-4, Dayle McDonagh and Thomas O’Brien re-established control at 0-27 to 2-18 in the final minute. Kildimo-Pallaskenry were three points behind and their final chance was converted as a point, when a goal was required. Patrickswell won by 0-27 to 2-19.
SPINATHON: The Club held a highly successful Spinathon fundraiser over three glorious days. The event was exceptionally well organised by the Juvenile & Camogie Club and supported by the community and beyond. Thanks to everyone who put in a shift on the bikes and helped financially.

CLUB LOTTO: The Club Lotto draw on Monday March 31 was not won. The numbers drawn were 9, 10, 11 and 21. The bonus number was 30. The €50 Lucky Dips were won by Mary Hayes and Elis Vahenomm while the €20 prizes were claimed by Karen Ryan, Carmel Ryan, Louise O’Donnell, John Cosgrave, Barry Gillane and Denis Crean. This week’s jackpot is €19,600.
