JUNIOR B HURLERS: The Junior B hurlers recorded their first win of the season with a nine-point victory at Ballybricken Bohermore. Patrickswell made a flying start and notched a goal and three points within six minutes. After the teams exchanged a point apiece, the hosts reduced the arrears to 1-4 to 0-3 with a brace of points. The game was ultimately decided in Patrickswell’s favour with a devastating flurry of eight consecutive points in ten minutes. The half-time score was 1-12 to 0-3.

The first twenty minutes of the second half were finely balanced as the ‘Well kept the home team at arm’s length by 1-17 to 0-9. Patrickswell’s second goal was followed up by a slight recovery by the hosts. Entering stoppage time, the visitors were 2-18 to 0-12 ahead. Ballybricken Bohermore claimed a late consolidation goal to produce a result of 2-18 to 1-12.

LIMERICK HURLERS: Congratulations to Cian Lynch, Aaron Gillane and Diarmaid Byrnes for their role in Limerick’s great victory over Cork. Additionally, well done to Diarmaid for being awarded Man of the Match.

MEMBERSHIP: Club membership is now due for 2022. Every player, both adult and youth, must be a registered member to train and play for the club. It is mandatory for insurance purposes. Non-playing members are also invited to renew. You can pay your membership fee online at foireann.ie or returntoplay.gaa.ie. The most common types are Adult €60, Juvenile €40 and Family €120. There will also be in-person membership clinics.

CLUB LOTTO: The Club Lotto draw on Monday April 11 was not won. The numbers drawn were 3, 22, 24 and 29. The bonus number was 26. The €100 Lucky Dip was won by James c/o Mary McCarthy and the €20 prizes were claimed by Danny Hogan, Theresa O’Neill, Sean Foley, Annette Harmon and Matt Shanahan. This week’s jackpot is €14,000.

CON AND ANNIE KIRBY STAKES: Best of luck to the Patrickswell Camogie nominated greyhound Magical Kuba trained by Pat Guilfoyle in the final of the Kirby Stake on this Friday night.
