Patrickswell
were awarded the Best Club in the City division of Scor, having taken part in
five events in the Final, winning all five!! In the County Final our Novelty
Act and Recitation emerged victorious, and again Patrickswell won the award
for the Best Club in the county.
Both
the Novelty Act and the Recitation were again successful in the Munster
Semi-Final, and did the Club and Parish proud in Templemore on Saturday, 27'th
of March, when they were just pipped for regional honours in the Munster
Final. Michael Shinnors gave a thrilling performance in the Recitation event
and was also on the Novelty Act team. Others to take part in the Novelty Act
were Julie Darcy, P.J. O' Grady, Keith Griffin, Linda Moran, and Rose Kelleher
who stood in for Gloria O' Donnell who was unavoidably absent.
