  • 2012:

  • The club will hold a Church Gate Collection to raise funds on 11th and 12th February 2012. Your generosity is much appreciated.

  • Adult set dancing classes start on Tuesday, 17th January in the club house from 9 to 10 p.m. All are welcome to come along.

  • Anyone interested in participating in Senior Scor is welcome to come along to a meeting in the clubhouse on Monday, 23rd January at 9 p.m. Events include music, singing, dancing, acting, poetry and question time.

  • Membership for 2012 can be paid in the clubhouse on Thursday evening, 19th January from 7 to 9 p.m. Rates are €15 for a juvenile/student, €30 for an adult and €70 for a family.

  • The Juvenile Club A.G.M. will be held on Wednesday, 11th January at 9 p.m. in the clubhouse. All are welcome to attend.

  • Best of luck to our Junior Set Dancing team who are representing Limerick in the Scor na nÓg Munster semi final in Askeaton on Sunday, 8th January.  Please come along and support our young competitors.
     

  • 2011:

  • Congratulations to the Set Dancing team who are County Scor na nÓg champions after capturing the title at the county final in Askeaton on 16/12/11.

  • Volunteers are needed for a bag-packing afternoon at Tesco, Crescent Shopping Centre from 1pm to 5pm on Tuesday 20th December.

  • The Scor na nÓg county final takes place on Friday, 16th December at 7.30pm in Askeaton Hall. Please come along and support our young competitors.

  • Congratulations to Michael Walsh who was announced as Club Person of the Year 2011 (Please click here for photo of the presentation...)

  • The Annual General Meeting will take place on Wednesday 7th December 2011 at 8pm in the clubhouse, followed by the Club Person of the Year announcement in the Cu Chulainn afterwards.

  • Congratulations to Club Vice President, Gerry Bennis who is being recognised by the Munster GAA Council for his years of loyal service to the GAA. A function will take place in Killarney on 3rd December to mark the occasion.

  • The club again struck gold in the Limerick Development (Mackey) Draw as Pat and Mary Punch won the top prize of €18,000 in the November draw. Congratulations to Pat and Mary and to the promoter, Donie O'Gorman.

  • A performance of acclaimed play "The Pitch" will be held at the clubhouse on Thursday, 24th November. The play stars RTE Best Actor 2010, Seamus O'Rourke and tickets cost €10.

  • The local Scor na nÓg final is on Sunday 6th November at 3.30 pm in the clubhouse.
    Please come along and support our local talent.

  • Congratulations to clubman Natal O'Grady for his recent double appointment as Limerick Intermediate Hurling manager and as a selector with the Limerick Under 21 hurling team.

  • Patrickswell GAA Club are delighted to announce that Brian Lohan will manage the senior hurlers in the 2012 season. Brian brings a wealth of experience to the role after many successful years with the Clare Hurling Team. We wish him every success in the job. The club wants to thank Gary Kirby for his tireless efforts and the great improvements that have occurred under his tenure.

  • Congratulations to clubman Ciaran Carey on his reappointment as Limerick Senior Hurling  selector for 2012.

  • The Under 10 Parish League is being held on Sunday, 9th October at 12 noon in the GAA field.

  • Uachtarán Cumann Luthchleas Gael, Christy Cooney will officially launch the completion of Phase 1 of the Clubhouse Refurbishment Programme at 8pm at the clubhouse next Friday,  23rd September.
    Light refreshments will be served. All club members are welcome.

  • Congrats to Conor Murray who played his part in Ireland's historic victory over Australia in the Rugby World Cup.

  • Congratulations to our U-13 hurling and camogie teams who were both victorious in their respective county finals played Saturday, 3rd September.

  • Well done to our senior hurlers who defeated reigning champions Kilmallock in the County Quarter final on a scoreline of 1-15 to 0-17 with a great comeback in the final minutes.
    The Well now progress to a county semi-final against Na Piarsaigh.

  • Congratulations to the U-13 hurling squad and management after the team won the Rose Cup hurling tournament in Tralee on Saturday, 20th August. (Please click here for photo...)

  • Congratulations to Mark Carmody and Seán O'Brien, who were part of the Limerick side that beat Cork in the epic Munster Under 21 Hurling final which Limerick won after extra time on a score line of 4-20 to 1-27.

  • You are invited to join Patrickswell GAA club for a social evening at the club’s "Twilight Evening at the Races" scheduled for Thursday 21st July. Music will be courtesy of Mad for Road.

  • Volunteers are urgently needed for bag packing in aid of the juvenile club on this Thursday, Friday and Saturday (14-16 July) in Tesco, Roxboro.

  • The Camogie Club have organised a collection of Old Clothes and Mobile Phones.  They will accept mobile phones, clothing, curtains, towels, soft toys, shoes, handbags and belts.  However, dirty or wet clothing, mats, carpets or duvets are not acceptable.  A home collection service is available by contacting Mary (086-3695155) or Gloria (086-3830668).  The Final Collection Date is Friday 8th July at 6pm in the Clubhouse.

  • The Cul camp is on from 4th to 8th July for boys and girls aged 6 – 13.  Anyone interested may contact Raymond Fitzgerald or their team coach.

  • CONGRATULATIONS to Patrickswell’s Set Dancers who were crowned All-Ireland champions in the Senior Scor final at Killarney on Saturday 9th April. The team members were John McDermott, Des Foley, David Enright, Michael Shinnors, Sarah Foley, Aedin Foley, Gloria O’Donnell and Paula Griffin. Muirne Bennis and Mary Shinnors are their mentors.   • The Club has adopted a five-year Strategic Plan which sets out the strategies and objectives of the club for the next five years. (Please click here to see a copy of the plan...)

  • The club's rich vein of form continues in the Limerick Development (Mackey) Draw as PJ O'Grady scooped the top prize of €18,000 in the April draw. Congratulations to PJ and to the promoter, Tommy Reidy.
    You can still join the draw and be in with a chance of winning the big money by contacting your local promoter.

  • Patrickswell GAA Race Day scheduled for Bank Holiday Monday 2nd May has been rescheduled for 21st July. Apologies for any inconvenience caused.

  • The draw for the 2011 county senior hurling championship has been made and the Well are in Group 2 with the Divisional winners, Granagh/Ballingarry and Bruff.

  • Juvenile club officers for 2011 following A.G.M. held on 3rd February:
