The Under 13 hurlers had marvellous success at the Rose Cup in Tralee last
Saturday. The boys drew with Birr and beat Lixnaw and Cratloe to reach the
tournament final. The opponents were the Kerry County Under 14 Development
Squad. After a game of excitement, great skill and high drama, the cup was
presented to team captain John Flynn. Goalkeeper Stephen Dunworth claimed
the Man of the Match award after some incredible saves in the final. The
